Our staff has been hard at work the past few months setting up a new, online church management system called “Realm.”
This new tool will support connecting the congregation by providing easy communication, coordinating our ministries, and — with strict privacy controls — accessing & managing your financial support. You’ll easily be able to access this online system from your computer and/or your smartphone.
Your support and participation in establishing your “profile” in Realm will be critical to making the system useful to you and the parish staff.
We will be providing opportunities to help you access and review your profiles and to show you how you can use this system to help all the ministries at The Church of the Good Shepherd.
What Realm Will Do For You?
Realm will make it as easy as possible for you to participate in The Church of the Good Shepherd community!
News: Communication starts here. This is where you can go to stay connected to everything going on at Good Shepherd! You’ll see posts from people in your groups and church-wide news, events, and announcements.
Events: Find all of your church meetings and social events in one place: No need to go back through your emails – if you RSVP to an event, you’ll get a reminder.
Online Directory: Connecting means accessing an online (pictorial) directory of fellow parishioners which can be continuously updated!
Messaging: Quickly and easily communicate with members of a group, or start a conversation with one person or multiple people, just like texting.
Giving: Whether you want to make a one-time donation, schedule a future
donation or sign up for online giving, it’s never been easier. You can also see a history of all your giving for quick reference.
Groups: Tap on a group you’re a part of to see everything posted in the group, view a list of group participants, or get general information about how to join.
Profile: Adding contact information makes it easy for others in our church to reach you when they need you.
