Ring and Rejoice Handbells

Ring and Rejoice is a handbell choir for adults and teens ages 16 and older who enjoy making music, learning new skills, and sharing in Christian fellowship. Members explore creative ways to enhance worship through music while having fun in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The choir provides music for worship services at Good Shepherd throughout the year and also performs for residents of Greenspring Retirement Community. In the spring, the ensemble participates in a regional handbell festival, joining 10 to 20 other handbell choirs in a two-day mass ringing event.

The emphasis of the group is not only on contributing to worship services, but also on learning new bell techniques, new music and new ways to have fun with music and fellowship.

Rehearsal: Mondays, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Fall rehearsals begin September 14.
