The House of Hope in Haiti  provides a home and schooling for 119 children ages 4 to 18. It is a place of safety in a very troubled country. Good Shepherd contributes monthly support for food and basic needs. Our parishioners have opened their hearts to the children, and parishioners have visited several times to be with the children at the orphanage. At Christmas time, parishioners provide Christmas gift money to the children. Another important ministry is sponsoring a child’s secondary school tuition at the nearby Episcopal school, Ecole Ste. Croix—to give the promise of a future through education.
