Acolytes The Acolyte Corps is open to all youth over age eight Lay Eucharist Ministers Lay ministers assist the clergy with administering the chalice at communion Lay Intersessor Ministers Lay ministers lead the Prayers of the People from the front of the congregation Altar Guild The altar guild helps prepare for the celebration of the Eucharist and special services Flower Guild Teams prepare flower arrangements for services Coffee Hour Ministry The Coffee Hour Fellowship ministry prepares and serves coffee, tea, and lemonade			Lectors Lectors read the Lessons in worship Ushers Ushers greet the congregation and assist during the service Welcoming Ministry We warmly welcome all newcomers to the Church of the Good Shepherd. Name Tag Ministry The purpose of the name tag ministry is to offer name tags to all who enter through our doors Media Ministry Records services and sermons for those who cannot attend
