The mission of the Young Families Ministry is to support families in raising their children in a loving Christian environment by providing activities that promote Christian community, education and service.  Most of our activities involve the whole family, but we also plan fun events just for adults too.  We know that you have your kids all year round, so we don't stop the fun when the school year ends.

Our family fun events include picnics, pool parties, big wheel & bike rallies, firehouse visits, airport tours, game nights, and much more.  Educational programs have included a weekend retreat at Shrine Mont Conference Center and an instructed Eucharist.  Our service projects have included installing a drainage system on the church playground, planting bulbs and trimming trees at the church, helping distribute school supplies through FACETS, and Christmas caroling at the Northern Virginia Training Center. For the grown ups, we have hosted an 80's dance, a wine tasting, a Halloween party, a monthly book club for moms, and nights out for dads.
