This team works to facilitate the church and the various mission groups in "Telling Our Story" within the parish and the greater community. We need to ensure that the good works of our entire parish are widely known. We provide support to all ministries.
The team includes the following eight sub-groups: Audio/Visual (Scott Flory, scott@theflorys.net), Banners, e-Media (Michele Braithwaite, mlbraithwaite@gmail.com), External Media, Information Systems, (Tom Appich, netling@cox.net), Media Ministry, (Craig Herberg, cherberg@verizon.net), Parish Reporters, and Photography.
In 2012 we continued upgrades to the Good Shepherd website, www.good-shepherd.net, providing updated information and more user friendly links. The weekly electronic newsletter, the eShepherd’s Staff, and the website and Good Shepherd Blog were better linked and coordinated. In particular, the content of the Blog was expanded and it was better integrated with the eShepherd’s Staff (sign up using the link on the website). Sunday services are uploaded to the Good Shepherd Sermon Blog for parishioners who are unable to attend a service. Improvements to information systems continued.
For 2013 we plan continued upgrades to the Good Shepherd website and other e-Media plus better coordination among the various forms of parish communications.
