Our rector came to Good Shepherd in 1997 after serving parishes in the Dioceses of Tennessee, W. Louisiana and Atlanta. He graduated from Wake Forest Univ., extended studies at the University of Tennessee before completing his master's education at Virginia Theological and doctoral work at Princeton. Larry enjoys all phases of parish ministry and has published in youth ministry and active with our Camp Hope youth program. Larry and Melissa have three grown sons, and a daughter at home, Isabel the Labrador retriever. Larry fishes religiously--especially in Maine, is an avid ACC basketball fan, and inflicts his photography and poetry on anyone who will stop for it.
