Ministries with Youth and Children |

|
 There are many varied programs for children and youth and their families at the
Church of the Good Shepherd. We want our young people to feel more secure in
their faith and their world. The goal in all our programs whether they are
learning experiences or purely fun activities is that we want the children to
know that God loves them. We also strive to help children learn that our church
is a place to feel comfortable, a place where their friends are, and a place
where they are accepted within Christ's family.We have Children's Chapel and nursery care during morning services as well as Sunday School during the Education hour. Three youth groups offer young people the opportunity for fellowship, friendship, and outreach. The JJYF (Junior Junior Youth Fellowship) includes grades 4-6. The JYF (Junior Youth Fellowship) provides programs and activities for grades 7-9, and the SYF (Senior Youth Fellowship) involves grades 10-12. Other opportunities for our young people to become involved in church life include the acolyte corps, youth music programs, Friday night Family Fun, Beach Week, retreats for all ages and Vacation Bible School.  This is a sampling of the activities offered at the Church of the Good Shepherd
for our children. We want them to learn about God's unending love for them and
to help them “grow in grace as they grow in age.” Please browse our calendar of
