United Thank Offering

July is the United Thank Offering, or UTO, month at Good Shepherd.  Each year you pick up a blue box and fill it with coins as you say prayers of thanksgiving each day for all the many blessings in our lives. Collecting the coins is a way of giving back some of the many gifts that are bestowed on us.  At the end of July, count the money and write a check.  Please do not put the coins in the collection plate, but preferably write a check and bring it to the church. The Episcopal Church has done wonderful things with this money, both at home and around the world, from building churches to helping the homeless
