In thanksgiving for the many blessings freely bestowed upon us by our loving and gracious creator, the Vestry of the Church of the Good Shepherd proclaims that

We recognize that all that we have is a gift from God who created us and embrace our obligation to be good stewards of what we have been given.

We understand that tithing is the Biblical standard of giving which we should adopt as our goal and that we should strive to return a greater portion of our income to God each year.

We believe that by joyfully giving of our time and talent in service to Jesus that we bring ourselves closer to Christ while spreading his good news to the world. 

Therefore, each member of your Vestry affirms our commitment to continually praise God for all that we have been given, to joyfully increase our annual giving, and to devote ourselves to his service in the coming year.
