Newcomers |
|
If
you would like to learn more about us or become a
member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, we would
be happy to assist you in that process. If you are
baptized (or desire to be baptized) and you intend
to make this parish your principal community of
worship, and if you intend to support the ministries
of the parish, you may be recorded as a member.
We offer several opportunities throughout the year
when visitors and new members are welcomed and learn
more about our parish at our Newcomer Gatherings. We
also offer opportunities for adult Confirmation and
Reception into the Episcopal Church from other
denominations following an Inquirer's Class offered
each year before the Bishop's Visit. For more
information on upcoming Newcomer Gatherings or the
Inquirer's Class, please contact our Associate
Rector, the Rev. Megan E. Stewart-Sicking, at
703-323-5400 x105.
For more information on membership and official letters of transfer from other parishes, please contact Rhonda Busch, our Office Manager, at 703-323-5400. Please contact any staff member if there are particular ministries and events you would like to learn more about. If you are unsure about who to contact, please call Rev.
