Welcome to the Good Shepherd Music Ministry web site! This site contains important information regarding choir schedules, upcoming worship services, special events and pastoral concerns. The information will be updated on a regular basis. It is our hope that this site will help to keep all the choir members informed in a timely manner. Our choirs are open to all - previous music experience is not necessary. Click on the highlighted link of each group for an activity calendar.

Lightshine

     Youth Choir (8th - 12th grades) A primary music worship leader for the 9:00 AM Sunday Services and participates in other
     Festival Services - Presents a musical sermon each year: Lightshine, 2008
     Rehearsal: Sundays 5:15 PM

The Junior Choir

   Junior Service Choir
      Middle School Choir (4th - 8th grades) A primary music worship leader for the 9:00 AM Sunday Services and participates in
      other Festival Services - Presents a musical sermon each year.
      Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:45 PM

Junior Preparatory Choir
     Elementary School Choir (2nd - 3th grades) Learns about music leadership in worship services participates with the Junior              Choir in some services and the musical sermon each year.
     Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:20 PM

Carol Choir
     Early Elementary Choir (age 5- grade 1)

     Seasonal activities related to music and liturgy. The choir sings prelude for the 11:15 AM worship service several times                    throughout the year and participates in other musical services and activities
     Rehearsal: Mondays, 4:45- 5:15 PM

Cherubs

Pre-School music activity for three years olds (by September 30) and four year olds - Seasonal activities related to music and liturgy
Rehearsal: Mondays, 4:00-4:30 PM

Paschal Jam
Choral and instrumental bluegrass/gospel ensemble provides music leadership for the monthly Interactive Service
Rehearsal: TBA

       Advanced Level Handbell Ensemble
       Rehearsal: Mondays, 7:00 - 8:30

Jubilee Ringers
        Intermediate Level Handbell Ensemble
        Rehearsal: Monday, 6:00 - 7:00 PM

Hallelujah Handbells
        Elementary Level Handbell Ensemble
        Rehearsal: Monday, 5:00 - 6:00 PM

Prime Chimes
        Beginning Level Handbell Ensemble - second through fourth grades
        Rehearsal Wednesday, 4:45 - 5:15 PM

         Plays for Festival Services - Middle School, High School, and Adult Players
