Welcome to the Good Shepherd Music Ministry web site! This site contains important information regarding choir schedules, upcoming worship services, special events and pastoral concerns. The information will be updated on a regular basis. It is our hope that this site will help to keep all the choir members informed in a timely manner. Our choirs are open to all - previous music experience is not necessary. Click on the highlighted link of each group for an activity calendar. Lightshine
    High School Choir (9th - 12th grades)
    A primary music worship leader for the 9:00 AM Sunday Services and participates     in other Festival Services
      Presents a musical sermon each year: Paul & Company (2007), May 20
        Rehearsal: Sundays 6:00 - 7:00 PM

Junior Service Choir
      Middle School Choir (5th - 8th grades)
     A primary music worship leader for the 9:00 AM Sunday Services and participates in other Festival             Services
     Presents a musical sermon each year: Three Trees (2007), March 11
     Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:15 PM

Junior Preparatory Choir
      Elementary School Choir (2nd - 4th grades)
      Learns about music leadership in worship services
      Participates with the Junior Choir in some services and to present the musical           sermon each year: Three Trees (2007), March 11
          Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 6:00 - 6:50 PM


Carol Choir and Cherubs

Pre-School & Early Elementary Choirs
       Three years old by September 30, 2006
       Seasonal activities related to music and liturgy
       Sings prelude for the 11:00 AM worship service several time each year and                       participates in other musical services and activities
        Rehearsal: Mondays - Carol Choir (age 5-1st grade) 4:45- 5:15 PM
                                         Cherubs (3-4 years old) 4:00-4:30 PM

Paschal Jam
         Choral and instrumental bluegrass/gospel ensemble
         Provides music leadership for the monthly Interactive Service
         Rehearsal: TBA

Ring and Rejoice
       Advanced Level Handbell Ensemble
          Rehearsal: Mondays, 7:00 - 8:30

Jubilee Ringers
        Intermediate Level Handbell Ensemble
        Rehearsal: Monday, 6:00 - 7:00 PM

Hallelujah Handbells
        Elementary Level Handbell Ensemble
