Lenten Programs

On Thursdays during Lent we offer our annual Lenten Series. We begin with a light supper and then welcome a member of the clergy or a guest speaker for the evening. The program generally runs on Thursdays in Lent from 7-9pm, but please check the parish calendar for current details and topics.

There is also an annual retreat on a Saturday in Lent. The retreat takes place at Goodwin House West (in Bailey's Crossroads). Our presenter for 2007 will be Dr. Kathleen Staudt, professor of Theology and Literature at Virginia Theological Seminary and Wesley Theological Seminary. Dr. Staudt is also a published poet. She spoke as part of
our weeknight Lenten series in 2006, and we look forward to having her with us again.
