Cursillo

Membership in this community begins with participation in a Cursillo weekend.  The weekend is spent in Christian community and fellowship.  There are a series of talks, discussions, worship services, music and some group activities.  After the weekend the skills that are acquired are brought back to the parish and put into action.  One of the skills learned is the process of forming a small group (4‑8 people) who meet on a regular basis for study, personal growth and fellowship.  Usually a group meets once a week to enable each person to get to know a few other persons well. The whole community meets the first Friday of each month for fellowship, study, music and fun.  This meeting is open to the whole congregation.
