Beach Week |
|
Beach Week is a week-long summer retreat for rising ninth graders through graduating seniors. Grouped age appropriately, this is a time devoted to relationships with family, friends and most importantly, God. It is an awakening to the strengths and wonder that lie within you. Every day begins with devotions on the beach, followed by faith based program activities, great music (including a beach song), team building and plenty of time for the fun of being at the beach together. At the beach, as in our whole Church community, we celebrate and offer thanksgiving for the wondrous gift God has given to us – our youth! Join us for a week of spirituality, soul-searching and self discovery in a crowded house at Rehoboth Beach this summer! We will be there for two consecutive weeks, usually the last two weeks of July. There is not only singing, praying, big group discussions, small group discussions, and a silent walk, but also the chance to enjoy the sand, sun, surf, tacky stuff at the boardwalk, Snyder's, and Brew-Ha-Ha.
